Hur som helst, efter att ha ränt runt i de "vanliga" affärerna fick jag bara nog och insåg att det var dags att ta saken i egna händer. Styrde resolut stegen till ett tämligen okänt territorium - Ohlssons tyger, och fick där fantastisk hjälp av personalen.
Idag tog jag så hjälp av min fantastiskt duktiga mamma, som sytt så länge jag kan komma ihåg, och med hennes hjälp gjorde jag ett mönster från ett par befintliga byxor och knåpade sedan under instruktioner ihop byxa nummer ett. Nummer två gjorde jag alldeles själv!
Och attans så kul det var!!
Tur att jag har tyg kvar till byxor eller body åt Pyret, och även en stuvbit som ska bli en tröja åt Andrew.
Jag tror minsann att det här inte var mitt sista hemmaknåp!!

Yesterday I was out looking for trousers for Andrew, but all I could find was jeans, jeans, jeans, chinos, jeans, jeans and more jeans. Nothing wrong with jeans, but they're not very playable. I want colourful trousers that aren't restrictive, but rather made for playing. Clothes for children, quite simply. Not adult's clothes in children's sizes. But that's me...
Anyway, after looking around in all the usual shops I simply had enough and realised it was time to take things into my own hands. I stumbled into a so far unknown territory, a sewing shop, and was greeted by excellent and very helpful staff.
Today my brilliant mother, who has sewn for as long as I can remember, helped me to first make a pattern out of a pair of existing trousers and then instructed me on how to put the first pair of trousers together. The second pair I managed all by myself!
And had a great time making them!!
Luckily enough there is enough fabric left to make something for the baby, and also a piece of fabric that will become a t-shirt for Andrew.
I'm quite sure this wasn't the last time I have a go at being creative!!
