Här finns allt: mat i alla tänkbara former och smaker, underbara hud- och hårvårdsprodukter, galet färgglada kläder till stora och små, tygblöjor till små barnarumpor, gott till godisgrisar, ris, bönor, linser i lösvikt... you name it, they have it. ALLT ekologiskt, och mycket FairTrade.
Som sagt, ett rent himmelrike!
Vägg i vägg finns även en ekologisk frisör, Grön Hårizånt, som jag har provat idag. Eftersom jag fortfarande har "vanlig" färg i håret, blev det bara klippning idag. En klippning som var helt ok. Det tar ju ett tag att lära sig varandra när man byter frisör, så det kan ju bara bli bättre! Och jag ser galet mycket fram emot att prova färga håret med växtfärg så fort den gamla färgen vuxit ut och bort.
Här hemma avnjöt vi en god kycklingmiddag på altanen, efter att Liam storstädat och lagat mat medan jag var ute med hundarna och lillhjärtat. Toto-besök stod på schemat idag. Som de flesta dagarna, om barnet själv får bestämma.
Kvällskvisten har jag tillbringat med fingrarna i jorden. Planterat två tobaksplantor och "sötsura" som jag fått av en kollega. Den senare är ett ogräs, men smakar jättegott! Påminner lite om harsyra, och ska visst vara jättegod i mat och sallad.
Vi har även köpt en laddning begagnade tygböljor till Andrew, och ser jättemycket fram emot att byta ut engångsblöjorna. Vi vann ju som bekant tidigare två stycken allt-i-ett-blöjor från Imse Vimse, och de fungerar superbra, så det ska bli spännande att byta helt. Tror att detta kan hjälpa att få honom torr fortare, eftersom barn med tygblöjor känner när de är blöta.
Spännande dag, kort och gott!!
Today I've found a piece of heaven on earth. I walked around with smile on my lips not knowing where to start.
Here you'll find everything: food of every possible variety and taste, wonderful hair- and body care products, clothes in every colour of the rainbow for kids and adults, cloth nappies, sweets for all tastes, beens, lentils, rice in big buckets - you name it, they have it. And ALL is organic, a lot FairTrade. A heaven on earth!!
Next door to this fabulous shop there is a eco hairdressers, Grön Hårizånt that I have been to today. Because I've still got colour left since the last time I went to the hairdressers, I only had a haircut today. The cut was grand, but as we all know it takes a while to get used to a new hairdresser. I am really looking forward to getting my hair coloured the eco way as soon as the old stuff is gone.
When I got home Liam sorted out a lovely dinner and tidied the house while Andrew and I tood the doggies for a walk. We had our dinner out on the terrace in the sun, and it was just divine.
Once Andrew was tucked up in bed I went out into the garden and buried my fingers in the soil. Planted two tobacco plants and then one that I got form a colleague. He calls it "sweet sour" and it's an edible plant that has a really interesting taste. He uses it in sallads and in stews. It will be interesting to try it once it's growing happily again.
We've also bought a load of second hand cloth nappies for Andrew, and are really looking forward to changing over from the disposable ones. I won to all-in-one cloth nappies a month back or so, and we are really happy with them. It should also help his potty training, since kids in cloth nappies actually feel them getting wet when they pee. The disposable nappies are nearly too good, with kids still using them when they are 3 or 4 years old. Of course it really varies from child to child, but in general kids in cloth nappies tend to be dry earlier. Anyway, we are really looking forward to start using them full time.
In all, this has been a very interesting day!
