Istället åkte vi som bekant till Kessmansbo.
I dag skulle vi premiärbada på Aspenbadet, och kollade för säkerhets skull öppentiderna, 10-15, så happy days.
packade väskor, packade cykelvagn och cyklade iväg till andra änden av Tierp för att plaska lite. Väl där såg det väldigt mörkt ut, så vi cyklade runt till entrén bara att upptäcka att det för någon anledning var stängt idag.
Jaha. Nähä. Vad gör vi nu då?? Jo, vi drog med oss mormor och morfar till narurreservatet Gropholmarna vid Dalvälven. Här skulle vi grilla korv och bara mysa. Det gjorde vi så klart. Och som en bonus kryllade det av kantareller både längs stigen och en liten bit in i skogen. Utan att anstränga oss ett dugg hade vi helt plötsligt fyllt ett par hundbajspåsar (man tager vad man haver) och en och en halv ica kasse. Bara så där. Nu har vi 1,8 kg förvällda kantareller som står på avsvalning.
Det blev med andra ord en jättehärlig helg trots planändringar och en himla massa regn.
Yesterday Andrew and I had planned on going to the newly re-opened library. When we got there it turned out it wasn't opened on Saturdays anymore.
Instead we went to Kessmansbo, as I wrote yesterday.
Today we had planned on doing or first visit to the indoor swimmingpool. To make sure it really was open, we checked the internet and saw it was open 10-15. We packed our bags, packed the bike buggy and cycled to the other end of town.
When we go there it was rather dark, so we went around to the front and there we saw it wasn't open at all today.
Instead we dragged mormor and morfar out to the nature reserve Gropholmarna by Dalälven. Barbeque and strolling in the woods was on the agenda, and as a bonus we came back with loads of mushrooms! A couple of dog waste bags (beggars can't be choosers) and one and a half shopping bag. Right now we have 1,8 kg of cooked chantarelles cooling down in the kitchen.
We've had a really good weekend, despite plans falling through and enough rain to make it feel like Ireland.
