Framtidstro / Faith in the future

Men, tänk vad mycket spännande saker det händer just nu! Jag blir ju alldeles glad och förväntansfull. Framtiden kan ju inte bli annat än bra!

Idag har vi haft ännu en fulltecknad dag, som började med en lätt försovning. Vi hann dock iväg när vi hade planerat, så kl 9 satt vi i bilen på väg mot Sala. Första anhalt var Broddbo för en besök hos bästa Sharon. Hon bor i just ett sånt hus som jag skulle vilja bo i! Gammalt med världens underbaraste atmosfär, vinklar och vrår överallt, högt i tak och orginaltapet från 30-talet i vardagsrummet. Smart förvaring i vartenda rum, och vackra trägolv som ber om nakna fötter som tassar över det. Stor trädgård med gamla knotiga äppelträd... Mmmm, precis ett sånt hus ska jag affirmera mig till!
Efter en härlig promenad genom skogen, på en stig med mjuka svala barr mot fötterna, där vovvarna fick leka lite packade vi in oss i bilen och åkte mot Mamre för födelsedagskalas. Min brorson S fyllde 5 år häromdagen, och brorsdottern F fyller hela 16 nästa vecka. Massor med god tårta och mer hundbus med kelpie'sarna Kompis och Hoppsan. Andrew har varit i full fart hela dagen, men efter middag och mat hemma hos mormor och morfar gick luften ur honom helt. Han har haft en stygg hosta hela dagen, och när vi gick och la honom hade han även lite feber. Det får bli en dag hos mormor och morfar i morgon.

There are so many interesting and fun things happening right now, the future is a really bright place at the moment!
Today we've had yet another busy day. Even though we managed to oversleep, we were ready and in the car at 9am as planned, heading for Sala. Our first stop was Broddbo and the fabulous Sharon. She lives in just the kind of house I'd love to have! Old, and with the most amazing and welcoming atmosphere - a happy house , high ceiling and the orignal 1930's wall paper in the sitting room. All the spacious rooms filled with clever storage space and beautiful wooden floor begging for bare feet to walk across it. Big garden with old apple trees... Exactly the kind of house I will use affirmations to at one point live in.
After a really nice walk through the woods, on a path covered in really soft, cool pine needles where the dogs played we got back into the car and drove off to Mamre for a birthday party. My nephew S turned 5 years old a few days ago, and my niece F turns 16 next week. Loads of yummy cake were had, and Abi and Zassi played with my brother and girlfriend's two kelpies Kompis (Buddy) and Hoppsan (Ooops). Andrew has been all go all day, but after dinner over at mormor and morfar's and then a bath he pretty much collapsed. By the time we got home and put him in bed, he had a slight temperature. That added to the quite bad cough he has had all day means he'll spend the day with mormor and morfar tomorrow instead of going to the creche.
