Ett avi på brev kom till vår son, så tillsammans åkte vi ner till ICA, för att handla och hämta ut brevet. När vi stod i kassan för att hämta ut brevet, kom en snäll kassörska och lämnade det bröd och de musslor jag just köpt men lämnat i kassan.
När jag kom hem och senare lagt lillhjärtat undrade jag var gjorde av de två blockljusen jag köpt. Eftersom de varken var hemma eller i bilen kom jag fram till att jag säkert ställt tillbaka dem ändå.
Kvällen förflöt, det blev morgon och arbetet kallade. Ett impromptu möte på en kollegas rum och jag såg den vackra hyacint som stod på hennes bord. Men - vad hände med de tre hyacinter jag köpte igår??? Visste bestämt att jag valt två rosa och en vit, men var tog de vägen egentligen??
Förstod att jag måste ha glömt dem på affären, och tänkte att jag får väl åka ner och fråga. Eller möjligen helt enkelt bara köpa tre nya. Vill ju inte vara till besvär...
Samma kväll åkte jag ner till ICA för att handla diverse förnödenheter (hade dock igen helt glömt hyacinterna), och så fort det blev min tur i kassan tittade hon upp, log och sa "Glömde du några saker sist du var här?" Eh, ja, kanske det... Fort gick hon runt till den andra kassan och hämtade en papperskasse (som jag inte betalat för) och räckte den leende till mig. "Vi förstod att du skulle komma tillbaka snart så vi packade ner det och ställde det bakom kassan!".
DET är vad jag kallar kundservice!!! HEJA ER ICA TIERP!!!
I kassen fanns mina hyacinter, de två blockljus jag inte alls hade ställt tillbaka i hyllan, och sparrisen jag tänkt att vi skulle haft med musslorna.
I dag när jag var på en annan affär här i vår lilla köping, betalade jag snällt och stegade iväg alltmedans jag pulade ner växeln i plånboken. Öppnade bildörren och satte mig, och fick känslan att jag nog glömt något.. Hmm..kanske den filmjölk jag just betalat för????
Virrpanna får just nu en helt ny innebörd...
A registered post arrived for our son, so together we went down to ICA, to do our shopping and collect the letter. As we were waiting to get the letter, the kind woman in the check out came to hand me the bread and the mussles I had just bough and left at the check out.
Once we were back home and the little one was fast asleep I started wondering were the candles that I just bought had gone to. Since I coudn't find them neither in the house nor in the car, I assumed I had put them back on the shelf in the shop.
The evening passed, morning came and it was time to once again to go work. During an impromptu meeting in a colleagues office, I noticed a hyacinth on her table. That got me wondering what on earth happened to the hyacinths I had bought the previous eveing. I had a very clear and vivid image of picking two pink hyacinths and one white, and putting them in the basket. But where did they go to after that???
Realised I must have forgotten them at the shop, and decided to call down and ask. Or simply just get new ones. One doesn't want to be a nuisance...
The same evening I went back to ICA, to get a few bits and bobs (but had once again forgotten about the flowers), and as it was my turn at the check out, the girl looked up, smiled and asked "Did you forget something the last time you were here?". Eh...maybe...might have... Se quickly got up, walked around to the other check out and got a paper bag (which I hadn't paid for) and handed it to me with a smile. "We knew you'd be back soon enough, so we packed it and put it behind the check out."
Now, THAT'S what I call customer service!!

As I looked into the bag I found the hyacinths, the two candles I hadn't put back on the shelf and asparagus that I had planned for us to have with the mussles.
Today when I went to another shop in our little village, I paid and walked out to the car while trying to stuff the change into the wallet. As I unlocked the car and got in, I had this nagging feeling of having forgotten something. Hmm... could it possibly be the sour milk (filmjölk) I had just bought???
The word scatter brain comes to mind...
