Men icke!

Such a fantastic and wonderful mini-holiday we've had, like a gift from the gods above! I worked from home on Wednesday, but only half the day, then I've been off and am so for another few hours. 6 days of "here and now", were we've been outside most of the time, basking in the sun. No musts, only life being enjoyed and a lot of time in the garden.

Today we've been celebrating the Swedish National Day, in glorious sunshine. True to the tradition in our little town, there was a long table with cakes and buscuits from all over the world. People were patiently queueing, and everything tasted heavenly. Andrew ate till it came out of his ears. We usually keep quite a tight rein on the sweet things, but today was a special day and the reind were let loose.
He has ran around all over the park, played with other kids, climed piles of gravel and been chased around the dance floor while the Burundi choir sang. In all, he's ran wild - in the very best sense of the word.
After a short pitstop at mormor and morfar's where a sandwich and milk were had. Then we were off to the riding school and the happenings there.
All the way there he sat in his bike buggy hugging his bag of carrots. We looked at the riding and the vaulting, and all the time the little man sat still on my lap looking at all the "toto's". With a carrot in his hand, of course.
Then it was time for the highlight of the day - the pony ride!
I kind of thought he might get cold feet once up on the horse back, but Oh was I wrong!
As pride as can be he sat with a very straight back in the saddle holding on with one hand. The other hand held a carrot, of course. Once the lap around the paddock was over, he really didn't want to get off the horse.
My most wonderful little sweetiepie. Who of course will be the next horse whisperer.
