En gång i tiden, troligen i samma veva som min kära mor höll på med växtfärgning, vill jag minnas att hon och jag gick en korgmålarkurs där vi blandade egen linolje- och äggtemperafärg. Minns att det luktade jättegott (eller så minns jag nåt annat som luktade gott), och att det verkligen var jätteroligt att blanda egen färg!
Tror att det är dags att återuppliva detta, och börja använda denna typ av färg som ju är helt miljövänlig, slitstark och rolig att måla med!!
I mitt googlande hittade jag även en tidning jag nyligen upptäckt och fick två gratisnummer av, Alternativ. Jätteintressant tidning för den som är intresserad av vägar ut ur vårt slit- och slängsamhälle. Den ger mig verkligen drömmar om ett annat sätt och leva, drömmar som jag absolut tänker göra verklighet av en dag.
I was looking around for information on linseed oil paint, and found Gysinge Byggnadsvård. This resulted in over powering must-have feelings, for the little things they sell their web shop as for bigger things like, say an old house in need of a little big of TLC.
Once upon a time, probably in and around when my mum was in to dying yarn with plant matters, we took a few basket painting classes together. During these classes we got to mix our own linseed- and egg tempera paints. I remeber them smelling really nice (or I might possibly remeber something completely different that smelled really nice), and how much fun it was to mix your own paint!
I really think it's time to renew this interest, and to start using this kind of paint again. It is completely organic and bio degradable, as well as durable and great fun to use!!
While googling I also found the web version of a magazine I recently got my hands on, Alternativ. I was given two free issues and coldn't stop reading. It's a great little magazine for those of you who are interested in finding a way out of our consumer lifestyle. It brings to vibrante life my dreams of a different way of life, dreams that I by god will make come true one day.
